Churchill as partnered with Playworks, a national non-profit, to ensure they are doing their best to incorporate healthy, inclusive play into school every day. Playworks has recently equipped Churchill’s recess staff with tools for creating ongoing positive recess experiences for every student. Churchill would like to create more fun and playful opportunities onto the playground so students can return to the classroom ready to learn. Recess is an important time for kids and Churchill is actively creating opportunities for student engagement, involvement, and leadership. During recess times, Churchill staff is supervising students as well as developing social and emotional skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving
