Lobos del ajedrez de Churchill
Día de alto interés
One of the most anticipated events of the school year! A half-day event where parents and outside presenters provide various special interest programs or activities in the classrooms.
Come see High Interest Day in action and volunteer to be an extra set of hands in a session or two. A complimentary lunch is provided by the PTA to all volunteers.
Popular activities in the past include:
- Slime Science
- Making Suds
- Build a Roller Coaster
- Duct Tape Creations
- An Owl’s Lunch
- Catapult Construction
We depend on parent volunteers to help ensure the success of this event. Many many volunteers are needed to teach the activities, help with the organization and planning of the event, assist presenters in the classroom and help at the luncheon that follows the presentations.
We cannot organize and run this event without YOU!
Fiestas en el aula
La Asociación de Padres y Maestros de Churchill coordina tres fiestas de clase cada año: Halloween, Invierno y Día de San Valentín. Los padres y tutores ayudan a organizar y llevar a cabo fiestas en las aulas durante todo el año escolar.

* Invierno – Viernes 20 de diciembre de 2024
* San Valentin – Viernes 14 de febrero de 2025
- There is a limit of 3 volunteers per classroom for each party.
- Please sign up for one grade/teacher for one party so that other parents who wish to volunteer get an opportunity.
- You can revisit the signup link later to see if any further slots are available!
- Extra volunteers are needed on party days to help with check-in and dismissal.
Volunteers work together to provide fun party games and activities (no food) for their selected class.
The PTA now has a supply bin of party items available to be shared! Details and process for use of party supplies will be sent to volunteers in October. The parties are always a blast for students. You can plan games and activities without spending a dime!

Assemblies, Field Trips & Field Day
La Asociación de Padres y Maestros de Churchill recauda dinero para ayudar a enviar a los estudiantes a excursiones enriquecedoras y organizar reuniones divertidas durante todo el año, así como un día de campo de fin de año. ¡ Consulte su cuenta de Skyward y los correos electrónicos de la escuela para obtener más detalles y recuerde ofrecerse como voluntario para ayudar!
